VISAS

In August 2022, the Togolese government revised its visa policies. Currently, the only way to obtain a visa to Togo in advance is an eVisa, which can be obtained from the service at https://voyage.gouv.tg. From the same service, you can also get all relevant and up-to-date information for your trip.

 

Consulates no longer have the authority to issue visas in the same manner; therefore, we can only refer to the address mentioned above in visa matters. If you have any problems with the eVisa process, please get in touch with the Embassy of Togo in Berlin via email allemagne@diplomatie.gouv.tg

PASSPORTS

The acquisition of new passports and the renewal of existing ones can only be carried out at the Togolese embassies. Individuals without a valid Togolese passport should contact the Togolese embassy in Berlin, Germany, at allemagne@diplomatie.gouv.tg.

 

If you do not have a valid passport and need to travel to one of Togo’s embassies, please don’t hesitate to contact us for assistance. We can request that the Finnish border authorities and airline companies allow a one-way trip for a passport application to the Togolese embassy with incomplete travel documents.

AUTHENTICATION

Documents officially authenticated by the Consulate are required for various official proceedings involving Togolese citizens, including matters such as marriage registration. The Consulate is authorized to authenticate both original documents and their certified translations.
